What Should You Go See In Cinemas This December?

December brings us towards the end of the year, and closer to 2019. There are so many great looking films to come out this December, so I’m going to run you through some of the ones that I believe are the best to look out for!

Miles Morales’ first Spider-Man adventure.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

This looks like such a fun film and takes us further into the ever expanding world of Spider-Man. Finally seeing a different Spider-Man with Miles Morales is great and introduces the world to this version of Spider-Man too. The animation style used within this film looks incredible, so stylised and fun, I believe that this is such a fun new way to animate a film. Seeing the introduction of fan favourite characters like Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Gwen and Spider-Ham is great. This is definitely an underdog in the December box office but I think it will do really well.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse swings into cinemas on the 12th of December.

The King of Atlantis comes to the cinema near you.

Aquaman

A lot of DC’s latest movies haven’t been hit with the best of critical reception (apart from Wonder Woman) but I believe Aquaman could be a great change from this. With Jason Momoa returning as Arthur Curry, we get to see the world of Atlantis finally revealed on the big screen. This film looks colourful and lots of fun, bringing some more much needed comedy to the DCEU. Bringing along amazing talent such as Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Dolph Lundgren and Nicole Kidman, we are looking at a fun action film with a great cast.

Aquaman swims into cinemas on the 14th December.

Not quite Cumberbatch or Downey Jr, but will be hilarious.

Holmes & Watson

A Sherlock Holmes based comedy is something I wouldn’t have thought to see but knowing that it is Will Ferrel and John C Reilly then I have to see it. These two can make anyone laugh when they are on screen together, and make an amazing comedy duo. Step-Brothers was their best film together without a doubt, but seeing them two take on the great duo of Holmes and Watson sounds like so much fun! With a great cast including Ralph Fiennes, Hugh Laurie and Rob Brydon, we are looking at hopefully one of the best comedies of the year.

Holmes and Watson follows the trail to the cinema on the 26th December.

Some redemption for the Transformers franchise?

Bumblebee

The Transformers movies are awful, just so bad, but this looks like a redemption of the Michael Bay shit show we have seen over the past years. Looking like a fun 80’s action film, this looks like it will be touching and not include awful amounts of loud noises and racism like the Michael Bay Transformers. Including the original looks for the Transformers is a clever move too, and will hopefully bring back some of the old fans. With a cast including Justin Theroux, John Cena and Hailee Steinfeld, we are looking at an actual good Transformers movie.

Bumblebee drives into cinema on December 26th.

  1. Heya this is somewhat of off topic but I was wanting to know
if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code
with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding know-how so I wanted to
get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
